In this blog ...... i'm gonna show.......how to  cut and sew DOUBLE PIPING - PIN TUCK PATTERN DESIGNER NECKLINE...........



Let me define what exactly PIN TUCK MEANS.... A small fold or pleat in fabric in place....is called pin tuck........

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

ANY CONTRAST COLORS MATCHING TO YOUR DRESS I would prefer three colors.........for patch green color cotton fabric of 0.5 mts and for piping red and purple colors 0.5 mts...each

Firstly mark on green fabric with the distance of 1 cm nearly 30 - 35 lines to prepare for the PIN TUCK PATCHES.....now fold on the line exactly adjacent  to the marked line start sewing...this is the way we prepare for pin tucks..........

Then for the piping I would be taking cross strips of 1.5 inches and insert the cord/ piping thread in the center of the strip  towards wrong side and start sewing towards on the top of strip just adjacent to the cord...and prepare two colored pipings......

Then overlap the two piping strips and now join the both by sewing adjacent towards the cord......this is the way of joining two piping and making of DOUBLE PIPING.....

Now PIN TUCK patch and double Piping is ready mark the desired shape of neckline.....and lay this patch join all three together sew on the wrong side of the piping ...

Then turn the piping towards the wrong side and do the top stitch...now we are ready with the designer neckline line.......ready to wear..............

RUFFLE / GATHER STYLISH COLLAR - EASY MAKING

Hi Friends! Welcome to Amazing Women's World.......

In this Post i'm gonna show how to create a Ruffle / Gather Stylish Neckline for Kurti's....

REQUIRED MATERIALS :

COTTON FABRIC 2.5 MTS BASE FABRIC for the preparation of Kurti
BLACK COTTON FABRIc  0.5 Mts for the top joining
Contrast color ORANGE 0.5 Mts for preparation of Dori, Piping, Plackets, armhole joining......

The pattern making of joining to two different  color fabrics with piping and preparation of dori.....a detailed video which will guide you in Marking, Cutting and Sewing....



Firstly mark your body  measurements on the wrong side of the fabric on the folded side mark your shodlder line, arm hole, chest line, waist and hip lines and seperate the panels both front and back then mark necklines...cut on the marked lines...

Make the center slit to join 2 inches strip to prepare plackets and join the shoulders, laying right on right start sewing on wrong side leaving quarter inch for seaming

Then now run your tape all around the neckline starting from center front to center back again center front ...and measure the neckline...

For preparing the Ruffle / Gather collar you should take 3 times of your neck length  that means my neck length is 18 inches and i would be taking 54 inches in width and 3 inches in length the strip...now conceal the edges folding towards the wrong side and now turn to right side... 

Now near the raw edges of the folded strip leaving quarter inch do the top stitch with higher thread length...and sew it.....after sewing hold one string of thread tightly with right hand and start pulling towards center to prepare gathers....this should match to your neckline..

Now lay this gather strip on bodice neckline and join both leaving quarter inch for seaming.....after joining sew the dori to the collar joining and then turn to other side and do the top stitch all around the neckline..

Now join the cross strip of 1 inch folding half ..start joining strip with arm hole circle ...

Take 2 inches strip and mark in the center then lay this strip underneath the plackets and do the top stitch ..and hem the bottom of the kurti............

Stylish Ruffle/ Gather collar kurti is ready to wear......please try this...You would love to wear it........
