Hi Friends!



In this Post I'm gonna show how to Create the Mondrian Style Bodice .........Just follow the pattern shown in the video and mark the Measurements and create your own designer Garment.........

Materials Required :

Two Colors Raw Silk of 0.5 mts each and the same lengths of Lining with same matching Colors........

Measurements for kids below ages 10

Neck Width - 2.75 inchs
Neck Deep - 3 inches for Front & Back - 2 inches
Total Length from Shoulder to waist - 12.5 inches with seaming allowance
Chest Length - 6.5 inches + 1.5 inches seaming allowance
Waist Length - 6 inches + 1.5 inches seaming allowance

Measurements can be Customized as per the Requirement, Note that the measurements are quarter part of Full Round Body Measurements......

Measurements for Adults ( Small)
Neck Width - 4.5 inches
Neck Deep - 4 inches
Total Length from Shoulder to waist - 14.5 inches with seaming allowance
Chest Length - 8.5 inches
Arm Hole Length - 6 inches
Upper Bust Length - 9 inches
Lower Bust length - 8 inches
Waist Length - 8 inches

CARDIGAN - EASY MARKING, CUTTING & SEWING...........

In this Post I'm gonna show how to create a designer fashionable CARDIGAN -  Uploaded the video of the complete making in You tube channel.

Firstly take 2.50 mts of fabric, fold it into half and separate the back panel length which is 0.5 mts then mark and cut the sides and back neckline, shoulder length, armhole, chest line, waist and hip line. Folding it into half towards wrong side..... 


The remaining ...2mts .fabric...... front 2 mts fabric mark and cut one side with Your body measurements and leave other three sides of rectangle 2mts  and from shoulder line leave front two panels with out cutting....the ...neckline.....join the shoulder line and the sides , aline front and back panels .... and you can see free falling from front side......

Try this for your loved one's ......they would love to wear it.....

In this blog ...... i'm gonna show.......how to  cut and sew DOUBLE PIPING - PIN TUCK PATTERN DESIGNER NECKLINE...........



Let me define what exactly PIN TUCK MEANS.... A small fold or pleat in fabric in place....is called pin tuck........

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

ANY CONTRAST COLORS MATCHING TO YOUR DRESS I would prefer three colors.........for patch green color cotton fabric of 0.5 mts and for piping red and purple colors 0.5 mts...each

Firstly mark on green fabric with the distance of 1 cm nearly 30 - 35 lines to prepare for the PIN TUCK PATCHES.....now fold on the line exactly adjacent  to the marked line start sewing...this is the way we prepare for pin tucks..........

Then for the piping I would be taking cross strips of 1.5 inches and insert the cord/ piping thread in the center of the strip  towards wrong side and start sewing towards on the top of strip just adjacent to the cord...and prepare two colored pipings......

Then overlap the two piping strips and now join the both by sewing adjacent towards the cord......this is the way of joining two piping and making of DOUBLE PIPING.....

Now PIN TUCK patch and double Piping is ready mark the desired shape of neckline.....and lay this patch join all three together sew on the wrong side of the piping ...

Then turn the piping towards the wrong side and do the top stitch...now we are ready with the designer neckline line.......ready to wear..............
